  • McCallum Park Active Area

    The Town recently developed the Taylor Reserve and McCallum Park Concept Plan to guide the provision of a variety of exciting new high quality spaces along the Swan River foreshore. The concept plan was endorsed by Council in March 2018.

  • Higgins Park and Playfield Reserve Masterplan

    The Town is commencing the development of a masterplan for Higgins Park and Playfield Reserve with an aim to guide the short and long term revitalisation of the site.

  • Archer/Mint Street Design Project

    The Town is developing a concept design to upgrade the streetscape for Archer and Mint Street. The design will consider all aspects of the streetscape, including the road, footpath, on street parking and lighting, as well as opportunities for street trees and other vegetation.

  • Homelessness in Vic Park

    The Town of Victoria Park currently operates under Policy 113 Homelessness – The Town’s Role. Under the policy, the Town aims to partner with homelessness service providers to connect people in need to services, resources and facilities that enhance their physical, social and emotional wellbeing.

  • Optus Stadium - Regulation 19B venue approval for sporting, cultural and entertainment event

    The Town's CEO acting under the Environment Protection Act 1986, has made the appealable decision to approve of venue, the imposition of condition of the approval of the venue and the specification of the period of three(3) years as the period of which the approval has effect


  • Miller's Crossing land zoning proposal

    There are four parcels of land in Carlisle/East Victoria Park known as ‘Miller’s Crossing’. These parcels of land are owned by the Department of Planning. In 2012, the Town asked the WA Planning Commission (WAPC) to zone the land as ‘Parks and Recreation Reserve’. In 2017 the WAPC instructed the Town to modify this proposal and zone three of the lots as ‘Residential R30’.

  • Arts and Culture Plan

    The Town of Victoria Park is developing an Arts and Cultural Plan which will guide the planning, development and implementation of creative and cultural strategies, including public art, across our diverse neighbourhoods and communities.

  • Bentley Park Master Plan

    The Town has received a master plan prepared by Iredale Pedersen Hook and Element on behalf of SwanCare for Bentley Park located at 3-5 Allen Court, 75-79 and 85 Jarrah Road, 1 Adie Court and 127-143 Hill View Terrace, Bentley. The site comprises land bounded by Jarrah Road to the north-east; Hill View Terrace to the south-east; Rowethorpe Village (Juniper), Boronia Pre-release Facility for Women, the Corrective Services Academy (Training Facility) and a portion of Hayman Road to the South; and Polytechnic West Bentley Campus to the north-west.
