Parking Local Law

Under section 3.16(2 & 2a) of the Local Government Act 1995, Local Governments are required to review their Local Laws every eight years.

What is happening now?

The Town of Victoria Park is undertaking a review of the Parking and Parking Facilities Local Law 2008. These local laws are made under the Local Government Act 1995 and set out a number of matters relating to Parking. This includes:

  • Where vehicles can and cannot stop;
  • Establish a parking permit system; and
  • Provide for different forms of paid parking and parking restrictions.

Feedback from this review will be used to determine if changes are needed to the Parking Local Laws in the Town of Victoria Park.

Any comments you wish to make on the proposal are to be submitted by close of business Friday 14 February 2020 by one of the following:
