VicVision

The Town is undertaking a major review of its highest level planning document, the Strategic Community Plan (SCP).

The SCP is the blueprint for the Town and outlines the vision, outcomes and priorities for our community over a twelve-year period.

Under the Local Government Act 1995, the Town is required to undertake a major review of the SCP every four years. The current SCP is for the period 2017 - 2032 and once revised will be for the period 2021 - 2033.

Meaningful community engagement is a critical component in the review of the SCP and provides an opportunity for the community to have input into decision-making and future direction.

VicVision is the project that will deliver a Strategic Community Plan that is functional, measurable and genuinely informed by the community.

What is happening now?

VicVision has been designed to take into account that our community has different levels of time and interest.

While registrations for workshop options have now closed, there are still options to get involved.

You can also shared an idea. Let us know what you think makes the Town unique and what you think the Town's priorities should be for the future.

All engagement ends on Sunday 9 May 2021.
