All of our Ranger vehicles are clearly marked.

Our newest vehicles are marked with the word Ranger in florescent blue lettering in at least three places, as well as having the town logo on display. Two of our older vehicles only have the town logo on display on the drivers and passenger doors.

Patrols are carried out by Rangers every day, including weekends and public holidays.

These patrols include but are not limited to, checking areas daily for illegal campers (river foreshore and parks), patrols of dog exercise areas, patrols of streets to locate trolleys and report or impound them, parking patrols throughout the town, litter patrols of known areas that dumping occurs and patrols generated from requests for assistance.
