  • Draft Parklets Policy & Guidelines

    In 2014, as part of a Council initiative to create a vibrant and strong main street, the Town instigated the Albany Highway Activation! (AHA!) project. As part of the AHA! Program, the Town funded and installed parklets along Albany Highway.

  • Review of Residential Character Study Area and Local Planning Policy 25 ‘Streetscape’

    The Town is considering changes to its planning framework as it relates to development within the Residential Character Study Area (RCSA), a section of the Town located between Berwick Street and the railway line. A study commissioned by the Town in 2003 identified that the original dwellings located within the RCSA contribute to a unique, identifiable streetscape character that should be protected and maintained.

  • Meeting Procedures Local Law

    The Town of Victoria Park proposes to make a Local Law to repeal and replace the Standing Orders Local Law 2019. This is proposed as the result of the eight yearly review of the Local Law.

  • Amendment No. 78 to Town Planning Scheme No. 1

    Council resolved at its meeting in February 2018 to initiate Scheme Amendment 78. The Scheme Amendment was subsequently advertised for 42 days. The subject property was sold mid-2018 after the initiation of the Scheme Amendment. Rowe Group, on behalf of the new owner has requested to modify the Scheme Amendment to rezone the property from ‘Residential R30’ to ‘Residential R60’, remove the requirement to provide aged care/multiple dwellings, and to remove the proposed built form controls and instead prepare a Local Development Plan.

  • Hillview Bushland Management Plan

    The Town of Victoria Park, in partnership with our community, is developing the Hillview Bushland Management Plan. The main purpose of this Plan will be to provide direction in respect to how the Hillview Bushland can be protected and enhanced into the future.

  • Environmental Plan

    The Environmental Plan 2013 – 2018 has reached the end of its operational life and it is proposed that a new Environment Plan is developed.

  • Vic Park Pride

    Gay pride or LGBTQI pride is about taking a positive stance against discrimination and violence towards lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and intersex (LGBTQI) people to promote their self-affirmation, dignity, equality rights, increase their visibility as a social group, build community, and celebrate sexual diversity and gender variance.

  • Technology Park area parking review 2018

    Technology Park in Bentley is one of the seven hotspots identified in the Town of Victoria Parks 2012 Parking Management Plan (PMP). As part of the Town's Integrated Movement Network Strategy the PMP aims to guide future parking management activities in the Town.
