    The draft Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) 2017 - 2022 has been developed in consultation with the community and stakeholder groups to help inform and strengthen our local community. It will ensure that people of all abilities have equal access to all Town services, information, events, buildings, facilities and employment opportunities.

    Social infrastructure is the formal and informal places, spaces, services and programs in our community. It provides many benefits including the bringing together of communities, reducing social isolation, increasing community pride, developing social capital, supporting groups with special needs such as families, people with disabilities and indigenous and culturally diverse people, and improving overall community wellbeing.

  • Water Conservation Policy

    Factors such as decreasing rainfall and water supply, combined with an increasing population and water demand means that efforts to conserve water are needed more now than ever before. The Town has now developed a Water Conservation Policy and associated Management Practice.

  • Local Emergency Management Arrangements

    Both the Town of Victoria Park and City of Belmont have embarked on an effort to deliver comprehensive Local Emergency Management Arrangements by 2017. The plan aims to ensure everyone who would be involved in an emergency is prepared and trained to respond appropriately in a crisis.

  • Evolve

    The objective of the Evolve project was to understand the community’s future needs and desires for the Town by October 2016 so that we could create a Strategic Community Plan for future years. Our desired outcome was for the Town and the community to work together to identify services and implement projects to meet the community's expectations.

  • Technology Park Area Parking Review

    In accordance with the Parking Management Plan, the Town of Victoria Park undertook a review of the parking within Technology Park and explored options to improve the usability and safety for current and future users.

  • Levels of Service

    Levels of service are essentially the services that the Town delivers to the community, and are a crucial part of the Evolve project. Our community needs to understand the different levels of service to give us the feedback we need to plan for the future. In order to effectively provide the desired services, the Town needs to have a good understanding of what the community needs.
