Edward Millen Park Master Plan

Consultation has concluded

The Town, in collaboration with it's community, has developed a draft master plan for the Edward Millen Park. The aim of the master plan is to consider existing site characteristics, current and future uses and community aspirations for the future improvement of the park.

The Edward Millen Park Master Plan project will help define the park's relationship to the adaptive reuse of the Edward Millen House and surrounding buildings. This combined approach aims to deliver a holistic vision for the precinct with the Edward Millen House, buildings and the surrounding parkland complementing each other to create an amazing destination and valuable community asset.

What is happening now?

At its Ordinary Council Meeting on 19 May 2020, Council endorsed the masterplan to proceed to the Detailed Design stage. A consutant will be engaged by the Town shortly to commence this work.

Thank you to everyone that provided their feedback and the design reference group who assisted in the development of the masterplan.
