Bin advertising trial

Consultation has concluded

The Town has begun a trial campaign in partnership with Keep Australia Beautiful Council and Natsales Advertising to promote anti-litter and community messages to our community.

As part of the program, Town-based businesses have an opportunity to promote their services on some of the available panels on the upgraded bins. Anti-litter messaging and promotion of local businesses and events within the Town will be the only kind of advertising displayed on the available panels.

The trial program will run until October 2018.

The trial includes:

  • Replacement of existing unsightly and outdated bins at bus stops, parks and community areas.
  • Weekly bin maintenance, checked for damage and graffiti with seasonal bin detailing.
  • No maintenance or replacement cost to the Town.
  • Advertising opportunities to Town businesses only at discounted rates
