Consultation has concluded
The Town has received a development application for Outbuilding (Residential). The application proposes a new shed to be built at the rear of the lot along two boundaries.
In accordance with Local Planning Policy 37 – “Community Consultation on Planning Proposals”, you are invited to comment on the following matters:
- Maximum Height of Boundary Wall – A boundary wall to the north-eastern and south eastern boundary with a maximum height of 3.943 metres above natural ground level in lieu of a maximum height of 3.5 metres as permitted under Council’s Local Planning Policy – Boundary Walls.
- Average Height of Boundary Wall – A boundary wall to the north-eastern and south eastern boundary with an average height of 3.943 metres above natural ground level in lieu of an average height of 3 metres as permitted under Council’s Local Planning Policy – Boundary Walls.
- Length of Boundary Wall – A boundary wall to the north-eastern boundary is proposed to have a length of 11.99 metres. The Residential Design Codes permits a boundary wall of a maximum length of 6.03 metres as permitted under Council’s Local Planning Policy – Boundary Walls.
- Building Height – The Residential Design Codes permit the proposed outbuilding to have a maximum wall height of 2.4 metres and maximum ridge height of 4.2 metres. The outbuilding is proposed to have a 3.9 wall height and 5.7 ridge height.
