Review of the Health Local Law 2003

Consultation has concluded

The Town of Victoria Park is undertaking a review of the Health Local Law 2003. This review will be conducted in several stages as the law encompasses the Town's current laws on:

  • Animals other than dogs
  • Protecting public health
  • Managing waste
  • Protecting the environment
  • Managing nuisance behaviour

Under section 3.16(2 & 2a) of the Local Government Act 1995, Local Governments are required to review their Local Laws every eight years.

What is happening now?

In October - November 2020, the Town sought community feedback on animals other than dogs. Feedback received is currently under review by the project team.

How can I be involved or find out more information?

  • Ask a question and we will respond
  • Reading the information in the document library or FAQ
