Update September 2019 - Project Progress

The Town is continuing to review alternate options to the Safe Active Street as a result of issues raised during the consultation process.

Significant progress is being made and the Town may be in a position at the end of the year to make a decision on whether to proceed with a Safe Active Street or Shared Path option.

The adjacent section of the Rutland Avenue route between Roberts Road and Oats Street is also progressing through design with funding allocated for construction of a shared path during the 2019/20 financial year.
