The Town of Victoria Park is conducting a review of its ward representation and invites public participation in the review.
Ward boundaries and the number of offices of councillor for each ward will be reviewed against the following five factors:
Community of interest;
Physical and topographic features;
Demographic trends;
Economic factors; and
Ratio of councillors to electors in the two wards.
What is happening now?
At the 9 October 2018 Ordinary Council Meeting, Council resolved to retain its current ward and representation structure which is comprised of two wards, Jarrah and Banksia and represented by eight Councillors.
