Multi Dog Applications

Residents require approval from the Town to keep more than two dogs over the age of three months on their property.

When a multi dog application is submitted by a residents, the following steps are taken by the Town to assess the application:

  • A property inspection, including an interview with the applicant, by one of the Town’s authorised officers.
  • Photographs to be taken by the authorised officer, of the property and any dogs that reside on this property.
  • A survey will be posted to your surrounding neighbours asking for their feedback in relation to the application.
  • A review of any complaints and/or any dog related enforcement action undertaken at the property

All current multi dog applications that are open for comment by surrounding neighbours are listed below.

41 Waller Street, Lathlain

  • The resident at 41 Waller Street in Lathlain is seeking approval to keep three dogs on their property. There are currently two dogs registered at this property, a Maltese x Shih-Tzu and a Toy Poodle x Mini Schnauzer. The applicant is seeking permission to keep a Kelpie cross.

24A Washington Street, Victoria Park:

  • The resident at 24A Washington Street, Victoria Park is seeking approval to keep three dogs on their property. Currently registered to the address is a Labrador cross Border Collie and a Jack Russell Terrier cross. The applicant is seeking approval to keep a German Shepherd cross Border Collie.
