The Town of Victoria Park proposes to make a Local Law to repeal and replace the Standing Orders Local Law 2019. This is proposed as the result of the eight yearly review of the Local Law.
The purpose of this local law is to provide rules and a set of procedures to apply to the conduct of meetings of the council, its committees and to any meeting of electors.
The intended effect of this local law is—
better decision-making by the council and its committees;
the orderly conduct of meetings dealing with council business;
better understanding of the process of conducting meetings; and
the more efficient and effective use of time at meetings.
Where can I view the Local Law?
Electronic copy can be viewed in the document library or a hard copy may be inspected between Monday 25 March 2019 and Friday 10 May 2019, at the Town of Victoria Park Administration Centre, 99 Shepperton Road, Victoria Park or at the Victoria Park Library, 27 Sussex Street, East Victoria Park.
