Fireworks Policy Review

The Town proposes to review Council Policy 404 - Fireworks Management.

The purpose of this policy is to provide a clear, consistent process for the assessment of applications for fireworks display and to outline the criteria by which the Town will assess proposals for the use of fireworks.

A number of amendments are proposed to the policy to provide greater clarity in the assessment of applications, to clarify the Town’s role in the process and to address issues that have arisen in relation to the current policy.
