The Town has received a development application for a Carport Addition to the Existing Dwelling.

In accordance with Local Planning Policy 37 – “Community Consultation on Planning Proposals”, you are invited to comment on the following matter:

  • Primary Street Setback – Council’s Local Planning Policy – Streetscape permits Carports to be setback a minimum 1.5 metres with the eaves setback at 1.0 metre from the primary street, with an average setback of buildings of not less than 6.0 metres from the frontage. The application proposes a Carport with a 350mm minimum setback from the piers and a nil setback from the eaves, with a 4.19 metre setback average from the frontage.
