Consultation has concluded
The Town has received a development application for Additions to a Grouped Dwelling. The application proposes two-storey additions and includes ground floor additions/alterations, new carport and rear alfresco area.
In accordance with Local Planning Policy 37 – “Community Consultation on Planning Proposals”, you are invited to comment on the following matters:
Average Height of Boundary Walls – The proposed rear boundary wall is 3.4m above natural ground level and the side boundary wall is 3.1m above natural ground level. The average height of a boundary walls are to be no greater than 3m above natural ground level, as permitted under Council’s Local Planning Policy – Boundary Walls.
Building Height – The Residential Design Codes permit the proposed dwelling to have a maximum wall height of 6.0 metres and maximum ridge height of 9.0 metres. The additions are proposed to have up to a 7.25m wall height and a 9.85m ridge height.
