Consultation has concluded
The Town has received a development application for Additions (Residential). The application proposes an extension and a carport to an existing dwelling.
In accordance with Local Planning Policy 37 – “Community Consultation on Planning Proposals”, you are invited to comment on the following matters:
- Secondary Street Setback – Council’s Local Planning Policy – Streetscape requires a minimum secondary street setback of 3.0 metres from Basinghall Street. The application proposes a reduced setback of 1.74 metres to Basinghall Street.
- Visual Privacy– The Residential Design Codes prescribes minimum setback distances for unscreened major openings from boundaries in order to achieve a reasonable level of privacy. The application proposes variations as follows:
- Alfresco deck to common property boundary with #37 Devenish Street – 7.5 required; 6.9 metres proposed.
