The Town has received a development application for Additions to Existing Dwelling. The application proposes the construction of a new shed towards the northern rear corner of the lot.

In accordance with Local Planning Policy 37 – “Community Consultation on Planning Proposals”, you are invited to comment on the following matters:

  • Outbuilding Size – The Residential Design Codes permit proposed Outbuildings to have a maximum size of 60m2 or 10% of the lot area, whichever is the lesser. As 21B Hertford measures 500m2 an outbuilding is deemed complaint if its area measures 50m2 or less. The outbuilding proposed has a floor area of 54m2 in lieu of 50m2
