In order to do this effectively, we want to hear from you – community members with firsthand experience – so we can best understand your needs and ensure we are taking an evidence-based approach to sporting club and community group development in the Town.

Community Group and Club Development Plan has finished this stage
Local clubs and community groups are notified of the Town's intent to create a Community Group and Club Development Plan, and a community notice board is published alongside two in-person workshops held at the Town Administration building.
Draft plan
Community Group and Club Development Plan has finished this stage
Community feedback from the initial community consultation informs the creation of the DRAFT Community Group and Club Development Plan.
The draft plan is presented to Council on 18 November and endorsed to go out for further public feedback.
Final consultation
Community Group and Club Development Plan is currently at this stage
The draft plan is published for public feedback. This final consultation is intended to inform the Town staff of any outstanding issues or missed opportunities when refining the plan.
Final endorsement
this is an upcoming stage for Community Group and Club Development Plan
The refined Community Group and Club Development Plan is presented to Council for consideration of final endorsement.
Once the document is endorsed, it will be published on the Town website and put into action by Town staff.
