Bentley Technology Park is a science and innovation precinct spanning portions of both the Town of Victoria Park (Bentley) and the City of South Perth (Kensington).
Development WA, as one of the landowners in the area, has engaged planning consultants to prepare the draft Bentley Technology Park Precinct Structure Plan (PSP) to coordinate redevelopment of the precinct. Development WA’s draft PSP has been lodged with the Town of Victoria Park and City of South Perth for assessment.
The draft PSP will guide the development of this area, by setting out development outcomes relating to:
Preferred land uses (for example, research and development uses)
Subdivision (the requirements to subdivide and create new land parcels)
Infrastructure (such as proposed new roads and pedestrian access ways)
Open Space (including the proposed distribution of open spaces)
Built form (such as building heights, the setback of buildings and landscaping requirements).
The Town is seeking feedback on the draft PSP for the part of Bentley Technology Park which is in the Town of Victoria Park. If you want to provide feedback on the part which is in the City of South Perth, visit this page.
