Archer/Mint Street Design Project

Consultation has concluded


The Town has been working to plan the upgrade and improvement of Archer and Mint Street. With your help, we have developed a draft concept design and we want your feedback.

In March 2020, community consultation revealed that community priorities for the project should be to create a streetscape that improves walk ability and vibrancy around local businesses while improving shading and tree canopy coverage wherever possible. We have developed a draft design to address these priorities while improving safety and accessibility for all users of the street.

What is happening now?

Consultation period closed and submissions received were reviewed by the project team. 75 responses were received.

A report was presented to Council at the September Ordinary Council Meeting with a recommendation to proceed to detailed design. This was endorsed without amendment.
