Draft Revised Local Planning Policy 29 - Public Art Private Developer Contribution

Consultation has concluded

Existing Local Planning Policy 29 - Public Art Private Developer Contribution has been reviewed and revised to improve the number, quality and process of public artworks facilitated through the private development process.

Details of the review as well as a comparison of other local government public art policies is contained in the Minutes of the Ordinary Council Meeting (OCM) held on 19 November 2019, which can be accessed from the Document Library. The Council consented to public advertising of the draft revised policy at this meeting.

What is happening now?

The draft revised policy is available for public comment until Thursday, 6th February 2020 and is available to download and view from the Document Library.

The outcomes of the consultation process will be considered by Town Officers , including the potential for further changes to the draft policy, before a final report and recommendation is made on whether it should be adopted, with or without modifications.

Any comments you wish to make on the proposal are to be submitted by close of business 6 February 2020, by one of the following:
