Consultation has concluded
The Town has received a development application for a Single House.
In accordance with Local Planning Policy 37 – “Community Consultation on Planning Proposals”, you are invited to comment on the following matters:
- Maximum/Average Height of Boundary Wall – A Garage boundary wall to the north eastern boundary on the common boundary with No. 7 Westmorland Street, East Victoria Park is proposed with a maximum height of approximately 3.847 metres and an average height of approximately 3.6 metres above natural ground level in lieu of 3.5 metres maximum, 3.0 metres average height, as permitted under Council’s Local Planning Policy – Boundary Walls.
- Fill and Retaining behind Street Setback Line - A retaining wall and associated fill is proposed to be constructed along the north eastern boundary in common with No. 7 Westmorland Street and south eastern common boundary with No. 11 Westmorland Street. The retaining wall and fill is proposed to have a varying height with a maximum height of approximately 700mm above natural ground level. The Residential Design Codes permit filling and associated retaining walls within 3 metres of the street alignment and behind the street setback line, within 1.0 metre of a common boundary up to a maximum height of 500mm above natural ground level.
