  • Land Use – In accordance with the Town of Victoria park’s Town Planning Scheme No. 1 a ‘Residential Building’ is an ‘AA’ (discretionary) land use within the ‘Residential’ zone and requires Council approval.
  • Car Parking – In accordance with Council’s Local Planning Policy 23 – Parking Policy a minimum of 1 car bay per bedroom is to be provided. The application proposes 6 bedrooms, requiring 6 car bays on-site. The applicant has indicated 5 car bays on-site, however, Council has determined that only 2 car bays could be appropriately used. Accordingly, there is a 4 car bay shortfall on-site.
