The Town has received a development application for Amendment to Development Approval (single house). The application proposes to increase the recesses of the existing powder and study rooms and extend the eaves of the dwelling towards Gascoyne Street.

In accordance with Local Planning Policy 37 – “Community Consultation on Planning Proposals”, you are invited to comment on the following matters:

  • Secondary Street Setback – Council’s Local Planning Policy – Streetscape requires a minimum secondary street setback of 3.0 metres from Gascoyne Street. The application proposes a reduced setback of 0.7 metres to Gascoyne Street.

Acknowledging the existing original dwelling is located within the 3 metre setback. The proposed works involving the extension of recesses will further increase the existing variation.
