The Town has received a development application for mixed use development - 32 Storeys (Tower 1) and 27 Storeys (Tower 2) comprising 463 dwellings, restaurant and retail uses.

The proposed development is summarised as follows:

  • A total of 463 dwellings across two towers, 32 storeys and 27 storeys, interconnected by a three storey podium.
  • The ground floor includes residential and commercial uses, including “Shop”, “Market” and “Restaurant” land uses.
  • Car parking bays for 585 vehicles.

In accordance with Local Planning Policy – Community Consultation on Planning Proposals, in addition to the above you are invited to comment on the following matters:

  • Proposed Use - A “Market” is classified as an “AA” (discretionary use) as identified in the Belmont Park Racecourse Redevelopment Structure Plan, Precinct D Land Use Permissibility table
