EAST VICTORIA PARK - No.973 (Lot 17) Albany Highway - Amendment to Development Approval

Consultation has concluded

The Town has received a development application for Amendment to Development Approval.

The application is to amend the operating hours of the internal sit down dining area of the restaurant. Currently the hours of operation for the sit down dining area is restricted to 7am-5pm. The proposal requests to change the allowable operating hours to 7am-12am. Changing of the condition has possible implications to car parking availability.

New management protocols are also proposed to mitigate noise and odour from the premises. Extraction of odours and screening is to be used to reduce odour impacts to surrounding land owners while sources of noise have either been removed or will be managed during the operation of the business.

In accordance with Local Planning Policy 37 – “Community Consultation on Planning Proposals”, you are invited to comment on the following matters:

  • Car Parking - The proposed use proposes a shortfall in on-site car parking of 7 bays. While 13 bays are required to be provided to comply, 6 bays have been proposed.
