As Per Council Policy, Short Term accommodation approvals are typically approved with a 12 month trial period. This period is now over and a new application has been made for indefinite approval.

In accordance with Local Planning Policy 37 – “Community Consultation on Planning Proposals”, you are invited to comment on the following matters:

  • Proposed Use - A Residential Dwelling (Short Term Accommodation) is classified as an “AA” (discretionary use) within the Residential zone under Town Planning Scheme No. 1.
  • Car Parking - The proposed Residential Dwellings (Short Term Accommodation) proposes a shortfall in on-site car parking of two (2) bays. While six (6) bays are required to be provided to comply, four (4) bays have been proposed. Each property has two bay tandem parking available.
