The Town has received a development application for additions (outbuilding) to a single dwelling at the above-mentioned address.
In accordance with Local Planning Policy – Community Consultation on Planning Proposals, you are invited to comment on the following matters:
- Maximum Height of Boundary Wall – A boundary wall to the north-east boundary with a maximum height of 3.926 metres above natural ground level in lieu of a maximum height of 3.5 metres as permitted under Council’s Local Planning Policy – Boundary Walls.
- Average Height of Boundary Wall – A boundary wall to the north-east boundary with an average wall height of 3.463 metres above natural ground level in lieu of an average height of 3.0 metres as permitted under Council’s Local Planning Policy – Boundary Walls.
- Wall Height – The Residential Design Codes permit the proposed outbuilding to have a maximum wall height of 2.4 metres. The outbuilding is proposed to have a 3.463 metre wall height to the north-east and south-west boundary.
- Maximum Area of Outbuilding – The Residential Design Codes permit an outbuilding to have a maximum collective area of 60m2 or 10 per cent in aggregate of the site area, whichever is lesser. The collective area of the proposed outbuilding and retained outbuilding is 91.36m2.
