The Town has received a development application for Amendment to Development Approval. The development application for the construction of four (4) Group Dwellings was approved by the Council on 16 August 2018, which is currently under construction. This application proposes minor amendments to the approved application.

In accordance with Local Planning Policy 37 – “Community Consultation on Planning Proposals”, you are invited to comment on the following matters:

  • Primary Set Back – Council’s Local Planning Policy – Streetscape requires a minimum street setback of 3.0 metres from Mars Street with an average setback of not less than 6.0 metres. The application proposes an amendment to the Unit proposed as No. 88 Mars Street, fronting Mars Street with the inclusion of a roof covered open Alfresco structure with a setback of 3.5 metres minimum and 4.92 metres average.
