EAST VICTORIA PARK - No.10 (Lot 56) Carson Street – Outbuilding & Additions to Single House
Consultation has concluded
The Town has received a development application for an Outbuilding & Additions to a Single House. The application proposes to re-roof the existing carport, install new front fencing, increase the length of an existing garage, and construct an “Auxiliary Accommodation” structure to the rear of the lot.
In accordance with Local Planning Policy 37 – “Community Consultation on Planning Proposals”, you are invited to comment on the following matters:
- Maximum Height of Boundary Wall (Garage) – The boundary wall for the proposed garage to the eastern (side) boundary with a maximum height of 3.7 metres above natural ground level in lieu of a maximum height of 3.5 metres as permitted under Council’s Local Planning Policy – Boundary Walls.
- Average Height of Boundary Wall (Garage) – A boundary wall to the eastern (side) boundary with an average height of 3.45 metres above natural ground level in lieu of an average height of 3.0 metres as permitted under Council’s Local Planning Policy – Boundary Walls.
- Building Height of Outbuilding (Auxiliary Accommodation) – The Residential Design Codes permit the proposed outbuilding to have a maximum wall height of 2.4 metres and maximum roof height of 4.2 metres. Due to the addition of a brick parapet wall for fire protection, the outbuilding is proposed to have a maximum 3.4 metre wall height.
