Council has received a development application for Retrospective Signs at the above-mentioned property.

In accordance with Local Planning Policy 37 – “Community Consultation on Planning Proposals”, before Council determines this application you are invited to comment on the following:

  • Panel Sign – As articulated in the Town’s Local Signs Law - “A panel sign is an advertising sign that is attached to a panel and mounted onto an existing vertical structure such as a side fence”

The Town’s Local Law lists this sign type as being not permitted in the Town of Victoria Park.

The Development Application seeks retrospective approval for the two panel signs, these being 5.6m x 1.5m and 21m x 1.6m in dimension. The application, lodged on the 31st of May, stated that the signage was required for 8-12 weeks.
