VicVision
Consultation has concluded
The Town is undertaking a major review of its highest level planning document, the Strategic Community Plan (SCP).
The SCP is the blueprint for the Town and outlines the vision, outcomes and priorities for our community over a twelve-year period.
Under the Local Government Act 1995, the Town is required to undertake a major review of the SCP every four years. The current SCP is for the period 2017 - 2032 and once revised will be for the period 2022 - 2034.
VicVision is the project that is delivering a Strategic Community Plan that is functional, measurable and genuinely informed by the community.
What's happening now?
The Strategic Community Plan 2022-2034 was adopted by Council on 12 April 2022. You can view the minutes on the Town's website.
The strategy comes into effect on 1 July 2022. A copy of the strategy will be made available on the Town's website by this date.

via Mobilealmost 3 years agoPlanting more trees, planning for a solid tree canopy in 50yrs time. Helping keep rents low on Albany hey strip so we don’t
turn into Subiaco. Maintaining park lands and not give more council land to developers. Get rid of the car yards.
