With over 14 years local government experience as an Environmental Officer, Brendan is engaged in many groups working towards environmental sustainability, such as Friends of GO Edwards Park and Friends of Kensington Bushland, and initiatives such as the Foreshore Access and Management Plan and Local Government Climate Change.

Eugenie combines work for The Green Swing with a role as educator/facilitator at Green Gurus. Green Gurus is an education and consultancy firm which focuses on sustainability and the property industry. She has a diverse background in finance, project and office management. She completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Sustainability from Murdoch University, focusing on Sustainable Urban and Regional Planning. and also has an Advanced Diploma in Accounting. Eugenie has given talks to various groups and organisations including TEDx, Local and State Government, national conferences, Perth Green Drinks, and various community groups. She is also one of the eco-experts providing sustainable home & garden design masterclasses.
Writer, blogger, speaker, workshop facilitator and community organiser. Lindsay has a passion for ethical and sustainable living and translates this into inspiring change! Lindsay organised the Less is More Festival, trained as a Living Smart facilitator and regularly speaks at community events on sustainability topics, as well as volunteering and is also a Plastic Free July advocate. For this event, Lindsay is working on a zero waste proposal and is our Sustainability expert.

Nicky Nolan
Satellite Events Guild Coordinator, Food and drink vendors Coordinator and Event Manager @ Town of Victoria Park
With extensive experience as a volunteer, Performing Arts Touring Shows Coordinator and Event Manager, Nicky is passionate about introducing sustainability into events run by the Town of Victoria Park and hopes to run the Sustainability Fair as a pilot for more zero-waste, carbon neutral, low ecological footprint events in the future!
Jo's business, Urban Revolution in Victoria Park, provide products and services that minimise waste created from everyday urban living and to create living soil.
Using permaculture principles Jo Bussell mentors and designs low maintenance food producing and composting systems for balconies, homes, schools and shared spaces.
The plastic free gardening tools and kitchen products are made by Men's Sheds and local businesses from reclaimed and compostable materials.
Jo is looking after our Sustainable and Community Groups for the Sustainability Fair.
Peg is currently the Waste Education Officer at Mindarie Regional Council and conducts tours of facilities, school visits and community education through Earth Carer training, public meetings, displays, assisting projects such as community gardens. Peg is also author of The Last Tip and has a degree in biochemistry.
A Carlisle local of 31 years, Peter is a university educated professional and was previously employed in local government as an urban planner. Peter is passionate about cities, towns and suburbs and believes that the best planning comes from many minds and is a strong advocate for community engagement. Founder of the Victoria Park Urban Tree Network, Peter has a strong environmental focus, and will bring his extensive sustainability and urban planning knowledge to the working group.
We are super excited to have Vic Park Collective on board to coordinate the Garage Sale Trail element of our Sustainability Fair - the Suitcase Market Guild. You will be able to sell your goods from a suitcase in our huge market stall of second hand and artistic wares!
The Vic Park Collective works to foster collaborations between local businesses, residents and the Town of Victoria Park to make Vic Park “uniquely awesome”.
