Proposed Lathlain game day parking changes

The Town is considering expanding game-day parking restrictions on certain streets surrounding Mineral Resources Park in Lathlain.

As home of the West Coast Eagles and Perth Football Club, the area around Mineral Resources Park receives a high amount of traffic when games and events are on.

In the last few years, Mineral Resources Park has expanded in use, hosting more WAFL and AFLW games and becoming the permanent training and administration home for the West Coast Eagles.

In 2022, there will be an estimated 10 WAFL games and 14 AFLW matches played at Mineral Resources Park.

There are a small number of streets that currently have game-day parking restrictions around the park. We are proposing to expand this to include other key streets and areas. The existing restrictions and the proposed additional streets are shown below.

Feedback can be submitted in a number of ways:

The Town will consider one response from each eligible rateable property. For the Town to consider any changes to existing parking management practices on your street, 40% of properties in your street must respond and more than 50% of those responses must support the implementation of parking restrictions.

Feedback is invited until: Tuesday 21 December. For more information, check out our FAQs or contact the Town on 9311 8111 or admin@vicpark.wa.gov.au.
