The Town of Victoria Park are upgrading the playground at Higgins Park in early 2025. To help with our planning, we would like to understand what the local community would like to see in the new playground.
On Tuesday 3 September from 4.30-5.30pm, the Town will be holding an information session at the Higgins Park playground to discuss the opportunities for the upgrade. All community members are invited to come along, ask questions and share your ideas with us. If you can’t make the session, feedback can also be shared using our online survey below.
Background
The playground upgrade is part of the Higgins Park Masterplan. Created in 2020, the masterplan aims to enhance active recreation areas and provide new passive recreation spaces for all community members.
Stage 1, completed earlier this year, delivered upgraded sports lighting to support and encourage full use of the ovals. Stage 2 will see a much-needed update to the playground.
