The Town has received a development application for Retrospective Development Approval for a Raised Decking at the rear of the above mentioned property.

In accordance with Local Planning Policy 37 – “Community Consultation on Planning Proposals”, you are invited to comment on the following matters:

  • Visual Privacy– The Residential Design Codes prescribes minimum setback distances for unscreened major openings from boundaries in order to achieve a reasonable level of privacy. The application proposes variations as follows:
    • Raised decking to the southern boundary in common with 14 Clydesdale Street, 7.5 metres cone of vision setback required, 2.25m cone of vision setback proposed.
    • Raised decking to the northern boundary in common with 18 Clydesdale Street, 7.5 metres cone of vision setback required, 1.0m cone of vision setback proposed.
