The Town has received a development application for a single storey single house. The application proposes the new single house to be built on the corner of Asteroid Way and Star Street.

In accordance with Local Planning Policy 37 – “Community Consultation on Planning Proposals”, you are invited to comment on the following matters:

  • Secondary Street Setback – Council’s Local Planning Policy – Streetscape requires a minimum secondary street setback of 3.0 metres from Star Street. The application proposes a reduced setback of 2.5 metres to Star Street.
  • Boundary Wall Setback – Council’s Local Planning Policy – Boundary Walls requires a minimum street setback of 6.0 metres for boundary walls. The application proposes a garage boundary wall with a reduced setback of 5.0 metres to Asteroid Way.
