Consultation has concluded
The Town has received a development application for Five Aged and Dependant Persons Dwellings.
In accordance with Local Planning Policy 37 – “Community Consultation on Planning Proposals”, you are invited to comment on the following matters:
- Primary Street Setback – Council’s Local Planning Policy – Streetscape requires a minimum street setback of 3.0 metres from Bishopsgate Street with an average setback of not less than 6.0 metres. The application proposes a setback to Bishopsgate of 3 metres minimum and 5.38 metres average.
- Secondary Street Setback – Council’s Local Planning Policy – Streetscape requires a minimum secondary street setback of 3.0 metres from Oats Street. The application proposes a reduced setback of 2.2 metres to Oats Street.
- ROW Setback – Council’s Local Planning Policy – Streetscape requires a minimum setback of 5 metres from the centreline of the right-of-way. The application proposes a 4.5 metre minimum setback from the centreline of the right-of-way.
- Visitor Parking – The Residential Design Codes requires the provision of one visitor bay for this many ‘Aged or Dependant Persons Dwellings’. The application proposes no dedicated visitor bays for the proposed development.
