Revised Local Planning Policy 37 - Community Consultation on Planning Proposals

Consultation has concluded

Local Planning Policy (LPP) 37 - Community Consultation on Planning Proposals has been reviewed and revised to improve its format and readability, consolidate and revise the consultation requirements for a number of development/land use types, and link the policy to the Town’s Strategic Community Plan.

The review has also considered existing LPP1 - Publication/Advertising Procedure which was found to be redundant and superseded by the provisions of LPP37.

The final outcomes of the consultation process and the recommended adoption of revised LPP 37 were considered at the Ordinary Council Meeting (OCM) on 11 December 2018. At this meeting Council resolved to formally adopt amended LPP 37 and to revoke LPP 1.

Further details can be found in the OCM Minutes of 11 December 2018, contained in the Document Library, as well as the adopted amended LPP 37.
