Revised Local Planning Policy 31 - Serviced Apartments and Residential Buildings including Short Term Accommodation
Consultation has concluded
Existing Local Planning Policy (LPP) 31 - Specialised Forms of Accommodation Other Than Dwellings has been revised to consolidate and remove duplicated provisions, improve the locational criteria used to assess proposals and clarify the matters to be addressed in the management plans prepared for short term accommodation proposals as well as other forms of accommodation falling within the land use definition of Residential Building. The title of LPP 31 is also proposed to be amended to reflect the most commonly proposed form of accommodation dealt with by the policy, namely short term accommodation.
The final outcomes of the consultation process and the recommended adoption of revised LPP 31 were considered at the Ordinary Council Meeting (OCM) on 16 April 2019. At this meeting Council resolved to formally adopt amended LPP 31.
Further details can be found in the OCM Minutes of 16 April 2019, contained in the Document Library, as well as the adopted amended LPP 31.
