The Town has received a development application for a Grouped Dwelling. The application proposes a new two storey dwelling to be built at the rear of the lot.
In accordance with Local Planning Policy 37 – “Community Consultation on Planning Proposals”, you are invited to comment on the following matters:
- Boundary Setbacks – The Residential Design Codes prescribes the minimum setback distance of buildings from boundaries other than the street. The application proposes variations to the setback of the following walls:
- Ground floor wall to kitchen - 1.5 metres required; 1 metre proposed to northern (rear) boundary.
- Upper floor wall to bedroom 5 - 1.5 metres required; 1.4 metres proposed to northern (rear) boundary.
- Upper floor portion of wall to bedroom 5 – 1.2 metres required; 1.1 metres proposed to eastern (side) boundary.
