The Town has received a development application for a change of use to ‘Unlisted Use (Amusement Parlour)’ to allow for the operation of a Virtual Reality (VR) Centre at the above-mentioned property. The proposed VR Centre will consist of nine (9) individual room-scale areas that would allow for a maximum of nine (9) individual clients at any one time to partake in virtual reality gaming, training or education.
In accordance with Local Planning Policy – Community Consultation on Planning Proposals, you are invited to comment on the following matters:
- Propose Use – An ‘Amusement Parlour’ is an ‘Unlisted Use’ and therefore classified as a discretionary use within the ‘District Centre’ zone and under the Town Planning Scheme No. 1.
