  • Primary Street Setback – Council’s Local Planning Policy – Streetscape requires a minimum street setback of 6.0 metres from Planet Street for boundary walls. The application proposes the following boundary wall setback variation:

Boundary Wall to Garage – 6.0metres required; 5.2 metres setback proposed to the south eastern boundary in common with 147B Planet Street, Carlisle.

  • Boundary Setbacks – The Residential Design Codes prescribes the minimum setback distance of buildings from boundaries other than the street. The application proposes a variation to the setback of the following wall:
    • Ground Floor Bathroom to Meals Room length of wall; 1.5 metres setback required,1.05 – 1.65 metres setback proposed to the north western boundary in common with 145 Planet Street.
