Consultation has concluded
The Town has received a development application for Single House. The application proposes to construct a new single house to replace an existing unit which forms part of a duplex.
In accordance with Local Planning Policy 37 – “Community Consultation on Planning Proposals”, you are invited to comment on the following matters:
Primary Street Setback – Council’s Local Planning Policy – Streetscape requires a minimum street setback of 3.0 metres from Asteroid Way with an average setback of not less than 6.0 metres. The application proposes a setback to Asteroid Way of 3.4 metres minimum and 5.39 metres average.
Boundary Setbacks – The Residential Design Codes prescribes the minimum setback distance of buildings from boundaries other than the street. The application proposes variations to the setback of the following walls:
Ground Floor wall to Verandah to Bedroom 2 – 1.5 metres required; 1.0 metres proposed to south-eastern boundary.
