The Town has received a development application for Two Grouped Dwellings. The application proposes the construction of two new two storey grouped dwellings at the rear of the existing lot facing the Right-of-Way.

In accordance with Local Planning Policy 37 – “Community Consultation on Planning Proposals”, you are invited to comment on the following matters:

  • ROW Setback – Council’s Local Planning Policy – Streetscape requires a minimum setback of 6.0 metres for the ground floor and 7.0 metres for second floor from the centreline of the right-of-way. The application proposes the following:
    • Unit 1: A 5.3 metre minimum ground floor setback and 6.5 metre minimum second floor setback from the centreline of the right-of-way.
    • Unit 2: A 5.8 metre minimum ground floor setback and 5.2 metre minimum second floor setback from the centreline of the right-of-way
