The Town has received a development application for Additions to Existing Dwelling.
In accordance with Local Planning Policy 37 – “Community Consultation on Planning Proposals”, you are invited to comment on the following matters:
- Primary Street Setback – Council’s Local Planning Policy – Streetscape requires a minimum street setback of 3.0 metres from Clydesdale Street with an average setback of not less than 6.0 metres. The application proposes a setback to Clydesdale of 3.0 metres minimum and 4.47 metres average.
- Boundary Setbacks – The Residential Design Codes prescribes the minimum setback distance of buildings from boundaries other than the street. The application proposes variations to the setback of the following walls:
- New Alfresco/Store addition – 1.5 metres required; 1.0 metre Aligned with the existing dwelling proposed to south western boundary in common with 14 Clydesdale Street.
